I was expecting something better ... Maybe it's because this song is way before my time, but Lennon's vocals are absolutely terrible. I don't mean any disrespect, seriously, I dig the Beatles and Lennon's other stuff, but these vocals do not match the mood of the backing music at all.

I rememberd when I first heard this song. Very powerful. If you guys and gals want to cry some more I guess you should listen to Lennons "my mummy's dead" very sad indeed. Rip John Winston Human Ono Lennon :p
