Pancreatic Cancer Action Network PSA with Dr. Randy Pausch

Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths in the US, but receives extremely little federal funding to support research efforts. Dr. Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon professor who has pancreatic cancer, has joined efforts with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to urge the federal government to provide critical funding to speed the cure for this horrible disease.

I want people to know that If you vote for McCane/Palin they will stop stem cell research that is so needed to discover cures for many desiases. Consider saving lives by voting for the right President Barack Obama, this is about health and the future of our families.

I have lost both my parents to this terrible disease. My father died in 10 months. My mother died within 3 weeks of her diagnosis. Please do what you can to defeat this killer.

This world is a better place because he walked among us. I would say that it's a waste, but really-- no, it's not. That man lived more than I have, and more than I will. And he made an incredible contribution in how he chose to go about his death.

For all those who are sick or in need of care- I am glad to say I am studying to be a NURSE. I cannot think of a better career and I am glad to walk in these shoes. Helping people is what I do and I blessed to do it. May God bless us all.
