You have every right to be scared, but don't fear amputation! It is the only way to eliminate the pain. Even if it only buys your dog a couple months. Get high quality lung x-rays ASAP, and consult with a vet oncologist. The clinic in this video is the Santa Fe Veterinary Cancer Clinic. But Dr. Mullins is now at the Animal Hospital Center in Denver. Both are great clinics, but we followed Dr. Mullins. Jerry had his operation at UC Davis in CA. My dog is only 6 years old and may have cancer i am very scared for him. I will try to do anything possible to keep him alive for a few more years. They arent sure if its a infection of the bone or cancer and if it is cancer they are worried it may have spread to the lungs... . I thought i was a ligament tear in his leg at first, When i heard the news i just cried. Amputation is a way to remove it but what if it has spread to the lungs. Where is this hospital located?
