Tag Tribute
Since 1980, more than 80% of the world's Steller sea lions have vanished. Tag took part in ground-breaking studies that are helping researchers understand why. He arrived at the Aquarium when he was two weeks old and charmed many visitors with his playful and charismatic personality. He died of oral cancer on July 1, 2008. Tag was a beloved ambassador for sea lions, and his life is a gift to the people he touched and the scientists he helped.

Thanks for the video - it's so nice to see Tag as a baby. We miss Tag a lot, so it's good to have a video to remember him with.

I'm so saddened to hear that Tag passed ~ I have many fond memories, watching him be his dapper and handsome self! My thoughts are with everyone at the aquarium. Mr. Tag will be warmly remembered and sadly missed by many.

The Dog, our bestest little friend. The furry kid with a tail! Was a research animal at the Ontario Veterinary Hospital of Guelph University! I am sure without doubt that Tag is as muched loved as our boy.
It's a grace when an animal is introduced into a research program, then becomes a friend, then family!
My heart to all of you who lost your treasured family member.
Peace.

I took a sea lion encounter and got to touch Tag, and the females in the back.
He was my favourite...
