Kids Believe in SickKids - Shania's Sunflower of Hope


When Shania was diagnosed with neuroblastoma she decided that she wanted to help other kids with cancer and created a Fun Fair to raise money for SickKids. Though she passed away in July 2007, she has left a lasting legacy that continues to inspire her family, friends and community. This video was created to honour her at the Kids Believe in SickKids Awards.

I was directed here from the online version of the Toronto Star. What an inspiration Shania is. As a parent myself, you must be incredibly proud of your little girl. This video is an amazing testament to her life...one that will continue to shine because she is here on Youtube. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...and also with Shania.
