In this video, which is part 2 of a 5 part series, we interview Dr. Ellen Ritchie at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Ritchie is an expert in hematologic cancers, focusing on leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. Dr. Ritchie is an active researcher and is currently enrolling patients for a number of leukemia and MDS clinical trials. In this interview Dr. Ritchie discusses her background, her research focus, the importance of clinical trials, questions patients should be asking their doctors, and patient use of technology.
