Shirley Murdock - Husband
Shirley Murdock, a native of Toledo, Ohio, was a background singer for the R&B/Funk band Zapp for a short time. Her first album in 1986 produced 'No More' and the love ballard classic, 'As We Lay'. She went on to release the albums, A Woman's Point Of View in 1988, which produced 'Husband' and Let There Be Love in 1991, which produced the song, 'In Your Eyes'.Murdock is best known to make songs that reflect the good and bad in personal relationships as they are demonstrated in her 80s ballard singing style. She resurfaced in 2002 with a gospel album, Home.
