i hope i dont have melanoma i have a mole on my face and it isnt that big or has hair on it it is realy black though

i have had a birthmark on my left hand since birth, it seems to have changed shape and location. I hope it is not melanoma. It is about 1/2 inch in diameter and it very slightly raised. If it is I hope and excision is all that is necessary. I might off myself if it is too far along.
