Pre-disposition to contracting leukemia can run in families. My 19yo sister died of an acute leukemia in 1974. I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2004 at the age of 56. Please give to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society so that this terrible disease can be eradicated. Thanks!

Wow, too much similarity with my life. My daughter died of a blood cancer (ALL) she fought for 5 weeks then developed complications. Only 22,&soon to be engaged with her 6 year BF. My world was shattered! We did Light the Night/07&our 70+ team raised $13K in 6 wks. We have vowed to continue to raise funds until a CURE is finally discovered. I pray for you and your family.
