Γ. Σκρεκας - χειρουργος -Splenic laparoscopic surgery for Hematological diseases is often associated with a high risk of hemorrhage due to the rich vascular supply and the fragility of this organ. Preoperative selective embolization of the splenic artery may facilitate the procedure reducing the splenic size, the blood loss and the operative risks. In this case the estimated blood loss was less than 25ml.
