Cancer Cure - Cannabis&Cannabinoids,by Robert Melamede,PhD
*** Cannabinoids and tumor inhibition in the news again this week!:http://... this video filmed in 2006, Dr. Robert Melamede, Professor of Biology at the University of Colorado, explains how the body's Endo-Cannabinoid system (and plant based Cannabinoids as suppliment) kills cancer cells and inhibits tumor growth.Refering to 1974 U.S.government-sponsored study when THC was found to slow growth of cancer cellshttp://... to recent research in Spain finding that THC stopped brain tumors in rats and protected surrounding nerve tissue, demonstrating neuroprotectant aspect of Cannabinoids.PDF of Dr. Guzman's research:http://... to "Homeostatic Regulation" of several body systems by Cannabinoids, Dr. Melamede concludes that Cannabis is indeed a "Miracle Drug", also recommending hemp oil as excellent source of EFAs the body needs to fight disease.View Dr. Robert Melamede at 2004 Cannabis Therapeutics Conference:"Holistic Biochemistry of Cannabinoids"http://... Guzman will be at the 2008 Cannabis Therapeutics Conference this April. More info:http://... Tuned!

Like many seeds, w/the exception of citrus, cannabis likely contains Amygdalin. I have the book "Marijuana&Your Child" which I believe was a written by doctors who defected from Nixon's study designed to damn the weed. Marijuana, like noni fruit and loquat {Japanese plum} leaves, has been a staple with herbalists and holistic practitioners for 5,000 years. I would eat marijuana stems&seeds daily if marijuana weren't used as a pretext to steal my worldly possessions and lock me in a cage.

Yea raw Cannabis seeds are awesome for a number of reasons. I actually have a family member of mine about to die from Lung Cancer, but my relatives on that side don't "approve" anything relating to Marijuana. I even mentioned how topical use of Cannabis can be a great alternative for reducing tumors instead of the Radiation and stuff. But I doubt the hospital does that stuff anyway. It sucks how the DEA and other agencies turn down or stop many Cannabis studies.

Cancer has taken on religious overtones and a mystic. How dare anyone produce an easy answer. Since everyone has a family member who died an agonizing death from this preventable disease, saying that it is preventable is sacrilege. Those who died fr. cancer suffered from ignorance, blamelessly of course, just as the millions who have died from scurvy&pellagra. Life is for the living. You&I contracting cancer proves nothing. Eat raw seeds. I have anecdotal evidence as to the efficacy of this.

Yea I saw you mentioned that in your other comment which someone marked as Spam for some reason, but it sounds interesting i'll check that out soon.

Actually no, first of all Crack only affects Serotonin and Dopamine receptors. And Cannabis affects the receptors and raises them but not insanely like other drugs. And yes it does affect the endorphins but not too much, Opiates are drugs that intensely raises the endorphin receptors. What do you mean written off other members of society? All i'm saying is a lot of non-cannabis users don't support Medicinal Cannabis simply because they don't know much about it. Damn...

Research the trophoblast theory of cancer. Watch "A World Without Cancer"&interview with its author G. Edward Griffin on You-Tube.

Canaboid receptors? Kinda like Crack receptors? Are you stupid? This like other drugs just sends out a release using endorphin receptors. "Non cannabis users". Have you written off other members of society just because they don't agree with you? What's the point of discussion if you want to throw other people's thought's in the garbage because they are a little more conservative. If conservatives give up here where will your advancing agression end? That's the point of controling all drugs.

Where did you hear this? Don't you mean apple seeds, cause I know those contain Amygdalin. I know cannabis seeds have Omega 3's, 6's, protein, etc. But I never heard of that. But Amygdalin doesn't seem like it could do much for Cancer.

I definitely think that if more people were aware more about Cannabinoids, like the fact everyone has cannabinoid receptors, and that Cannabis affects the body quite naturally in the body and brain, even more non-cannabis users would support the legalization of Medicinal Cannabis. Same goes with Hemp too, even today people still just don't know what Hemp could do for us, especially at an economic level. Besides having any plant be considered illegal and to deny its benefits is pretty ignorant.

It's the bitter substance contained within the seeds&kernels of some fruits as well as within certain broad-leaf grasses. There are about 1,400 edible plants and seeds that contain Amygdalin (a.k.a. vitamin B17). Apricot kernels are particularly rich in B17. It's also in the seeds of apples, watermelons, sunflowers, grapes,&plums. See: "A World Without Cancer"&interview with G. Edward Griffin on You-Tube.
