French Bulldog-Churchill tribute

A collection of pictures of my foster dog Churchill that passed away much too soon of Cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma. He will be dearly missed.I have been amazed at the feedback I have had so I have added some additional information- Churhcill was a foster dog that was taken to a shelter to be euthanized by his owners, FBRN came to the rescue to save this boy, we took him to see a dermatologist to get the diagnosis of Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma which is a rare skin cancer and then went to see an oncologist for information on Chemo. Churchill was too far and was dying and the chemo would not start to work for 3 months and he did not have three months left so we opted to let him go peacefully to end his suffering. I hope that the couple of months he was with us that he was happy and we loved him very much. Churchill was cremated and remains with me so that he knows he has found his forever home. Thank you to everyone for all the kind words. You too can help change or save a life by volunteering at a rescue of your choice.

Thank you for loving the little man. He knew you loved him and he loved you, too.

We have three rescued Boston terriers. I am so lucky to know them. Two were puppy mill mommas, one's family divorced.

Please, please please adopt, foster, shelter animals. They need us and we need them, too.

How blessed each of you were to have find one another. I know you enriched his life with love and kindness. Bless you!

Thank you for being there so that he did not have to take his final journey alone. I cannot imagine how an owner could take a dog to the shelter and leave them to be euthanized alone."On the ultimate difficult journey, go with me please. Never say you can't bear to watch. Don't make me face this alone. Everything is easier for e if you are there, because I love you."I'm so glad that he remains with you forever.

I'm sure he was very, very happy in his final days, knowing that someone with such a big heart loved him and cared for him as you did. I'm sure it was difficult for you to take him on, with the knowledge that he wouldn't be with you for long. I commend you for giving Churchill another chance at life. I'm going to adopt a dog in need one day, too :)
