Hi guardianangel68, your father would be proud because you shared him with all of us. Many of us know what you are going threw and how much you miss your dad. I know they will find a cure someday. My prayers are with you and to everyone who is going threw this or has lost someone.

I'm sure your dad must have been really proud of you. The important thing is that you gave him the best of you. God bless you Candi.

I also lost my Dad to lung Cancer. The whole process took 5 months (we were told maximum 6 months). He was living in Europe...I just got to visit him when I learnt about the illness...and to his funeral...He died on a Friday...on the following Monday he was going to be told that he could not be able to walk again due to chemo side effects.
He stopped smoking 5 years before the illness...everything was ok until his last 5 months...it appeared from nowhere.
God Bless you
