Dr. Donald Tashkin Marijuana Lung Cancer Study Pt 1 of 2
Pulmonary specialist and Federal Government researcher from UCLA Geffen School of Medicine finds that marijuana does not cause lung cancer in his study on the effects of cannabis and the lungs. Results of this study are discussed for the first time. If you agree that cannabis should be legal, write a letter to your congressperson and tell them to legalize it!

My family is also very successful and we are huge supporters of marijuana. Saying marijuana is a gateway drug is easy simply because it's the least harmful drug out there. And whoever said marijuana helped obesety? I don't even know why you would bring that up...Why don't we make McDonalds illegal because it doesn't seem to be helping Obesety any. Marijuana is not physically addictive at ALL. It was bringing you down because you're too ignorant to use it responsibly. How about doing some research

Show me peer-reviewed citation saying the gateway effect does NOT exist for some. Since we're sharing, I smoked it but didn't become successful until I had a clear head and quit the wacky weed. I dropped out of high school, then, after finally graduating, dropped out of med school where I wrote a paper trying to take the side you have. My parents, siblings, grandparents, etc watched my steady decline. Now, I see others do the same. It's an addictive drug, I feel sorry for you and your family.

and pot does NOT make you dumb, either. I used to tune F.M. transmitters for a living. I took away the quality and productivity rate from my ex military policeman supervisor while stoned to the max every day. every day. they so hated on me for ruining their understanding. i was supposed to be their charity case and i smoked them off the bench! the instuction manual for what i did was 6 inches thick and i whooped them ALL. smoke pot peops. legalize today! and no lung cancer! yah mon!

Marijuana is NOT a gateway drug. There are plenty of sources for this, but instead of wasting my time with something i already know, ill share with you living proof.
My father, and his father, both smoked marijuana regularly, and both are very successful people, neither of the two are associated with any other types of drugs, nor did they ever feel the need to. I too smoke marijuana, attend college and don't feel the urge to do other drugs. And please, damaged lives of millions? You're an idiot

"marijuana is proven to be far less harmful, than tobacco, caffene"Give me a source that says that.
"marijuana shouldnt even be compared to the misery alcohol has caused to millions of individuals and familys."
Why not? Marijuana is a gateway drug for some which has damaged lives of millions.
Obesety is a problem, marijuana is not a cure to it.

rickrocker (June 11, 2008 at 7:25 am)
Like comparing it to cigarettes, coffee, and alcohol.

The study was of existing cannibis users and we didn't get into the details such as what strain was used. I do believe that the amount of cannibis used was considered.
