CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER OF EVENTS:Apr. 18 Primary Care Dr. with complaint of tightness in throat.Apr. 20 Upper G.I. Center for discussion.Apr. 23 Imaging Center for swallow test, x-rays.Apr. 25 Upper G.I. Center for Endoscopy.Apr. 26 Imaging Center for C.T. Scan.May 3 Palm Coast Imaging Center for PET Scan.May 8 Quest Lab for blood draw.May 9 Mayo Clinic Jacksonville for Endoscopy w/ ultra sound and biopsy.May 31 Cancer Center meet with Chemo Dr.June 5 Oncology Center meet with Radiation Dr.June 6 Doctors Center meet with possible surgeon.June 6 Oncology center PET Scan to set body marks for Radiation.June 20 Begin Radiation treatments.June 25 Begin Chemo treatments.July 6 Stomach feed tube to be installed just in case the therapies cause swallowing problems.

Thanks! It just didn't seem to bother me as it does to most other people. I just took everything one day at a time, and kept myself busy with my job and regular life while this was all going on.

In this region, we get a lot of thick yellow pollen in February and March, then it goes away. But I guess there are other allergy problems through the summer as you say. The tightness was becoming worse and was noticeable all the time. I am doing fine now. Thanks.

I had thought the allergy season can last all summer, or even into the fall? I was just curious, did you used to smoke or drink? And did your tightness in your throat come and go, or was it constantly tight all the time? Hopefully you are doing good now.
