The way I understand, cancer cells that can't be detected may be floating around in the system. They can regroup and start a problem.

If cancer cells were found in your lymph nodes, does that mean it will/might eventually show up in some other body part? This happened with my husband, too. So far, after his 2nd cancer surgery last year, it has not shown up anywhere else, but we are weary that it will.
