What scares people are the signs they have on the door and walls 'Emergency Procedures for accidental radio-active spills' etc. But it's all there to help me track down any early signs of cancer. Thanks for commenting.

Having a radioactive indicator injected in you seems like a mortifying experience, but you make it sound pleasant. When I used to take my grandmother to her radiation therapy (she had pancreatic cancer), it was really hard to keep her spirits up.I can only imagine what it's like to be in such a situation, but I like how you keep such a positive outlook on everything. I know everything's gonna be alright.

Thanks for the update and the explanation of a PET scan. My husband has never had one of those. Lots of CAT scans, though. Here's hoping next week brings good news! Sharon
