I'm setting an autoexpandable, metalic esophagic endoprothesis in an 80 y/old male with obstructive cancer in the gastroesophagic junction

that depends on the stage. the survival is directly related to the advance of the tumor through the wall of the organ

Wow...that was the first time I have ever seen cancer in someones body. Cancer scares me so much, that's why I try really had to be healthy and eat right and exercise. Thanks for posting this

the "cabbage-like" tissue is the cancer itself, the cancer obstructed the esophagus and that's why it was necessary to set the endoprothesis. the patient is still alive and is able to eat oraly
