Yeah, I expect a 3/4 inch scar there when they remove it. I still have my port. I will remove it if I stay in remission.

First of all Hardtlion, I'm sorry to hear of the state of your NHL, and about your brother.With my incision, they also used glue, but I did not experience the sensation that you are.

I will be keeping you in my thoughts.

I had my port installed in 2006. The only problem I had was the incision which they glued together rather than stitching. The scars is still very sensitive and there is a sensation like raw nerves there. I would much rather have been stitched up. Hey, I am old-school anyway!I have NHL in stage 4. I'm told I have about six months to live. My brother died of colon cancer about a year before I was diagnosed.
