Thuddas, you are right it stems from control, and greed. The cure for cancer has been found a hundred times over by now, but they make too much money on the treatments, if you want to call it that, and it's population control too. Sick sick world we live in. I know of a doc. from the early 40's who had the cure for skin cancer. That is just one of many who have had the cure for cancers and have been silenced. Don't trust the Pharmaceutical companies, they're just out to get ya.

No your not ignorant, your mostly right.Bears are only known to die of cancer in captivity - they dont get the grass they eat in the wild in captivity.
Monkey's eat the kernels inside the stones of fruit first before anything.
The more we stray from our adapted food the more we suffer, ADD to this the rediculous lack of awareness of our technology - cell phones&masts, wireless tech etc. Its all adding up, and all greatly increases your chances - i say screw modern living and money.

I'm sorry for your loss. This is just my opinion, but I think that cancer is caused from unnaturality. It could be from actually eating unhealthily, or not excercising, or smoking, or microwaving your food, or cell phone waves, radio waves and all the other unnatural things that surround us. Of course genetics are going to play a part of it too, but I say we can influence our genetics more than they influence us! Screw you genetics! Anyways, peace. sorry I'm ignorant, sorry you care.

@ryanliamg: my father never smoked nor did he drink. he exercised regularly ate only healthy foods and died from brain cancer at age 62. my mother leads a healthy lifestyle as well and is now fighting breast cancer. don't be so quick to post ignorant comments, chances are you or someone you love will be diagnosed with cancer during your lifetime.

Cancer is like nature's way of letting people know they can't expect to live unhealthily and get away with it.
