Saku Koivu's return from cancer
Low-quality video of part of the eight minute ovation Saku Koivu received upon his return from cancer. Montreal won the game 4-3, securing them a spot in the playoffs where Koivu would go on lead the Habs to a six game triumph over the #1 ranked Boston Bruins.

I remember this game, could of sworn I cried when he came back. Hopefully someone ripped the game from ESPN classic and can upload a clearer version.

countrygirl4lifee (April 19, 2008 at 6:40 pm)
I've had a few very, very close family members die of cancer. I'm so happy for Koivu and his family! He is an awesome man, strong, awesome hockey player and the fact he's a Canadien is just icing on the cake!
Go HABS Go!!! All the way baby!
