Pancreatic Cancer Action Network PSA with Dr. Randy Pausch

Pancreatic cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths in the US, but receives extremely little federal funding to support research efforts. Dr. Randy Pausch, the Carnegie Mellon professor who has pancreatic cancer, has joined efforts with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to urge the federal government to provide critical funding to speed the cure for this horrible disease.

I am so sorry. I know I have no idea what it feels like because my parents are alive still,but I know he will be watching over you till the day you die. You will be able to see him again. God had something planned for you.

i want to encourage everyone who is diagnosed to waste NO TIME. Unfortunately the doctor my dad had-overlooked some things and too much time went by. He was diagnosed end of oct. (when doc saw and did not say anything to him some spots a few months ago)He passed away Nov 20, after fighting as hard as he could,from advanced stages of pancreatic cancer. DO NOT DELAY ON GETTING SYMPTOMS CHECKED AND RECHECKED IF NECESSARY. I do want to thank you though. You did give him the hope to keep fighting:)!!

Just listening to you has given me hope. My dad was just diagnosis with pancreatic cancer and docs told him his chances are slim to none. That was soo hard to hear. You have lifted spirits and he has decided to fight. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you so very much!!!!!

this isnt a joke. once it hits you, it hits you like a ton of brikes. but you have to have will power and never give up hope. i have a parent with collon, pancreatic caner and it infected his liver. He still has hope. Its possible guys. dont give up. cause tomorrow everything can change.
