Derek Miller's Cancer Story
http://... - Derek is your typical Gnomedex geek, and last year wrote Gnomedex theme song. Unfortunately, he could not join us in person this year. Instead, he comes to us from his bed.. where he likes being a floating head on a screen.

Mythbusters! I know what you mean, Derek. I spent about 6 months in bed during my cancer treatment, and I watched a lot of Mythbusters.I understand what you mean about reaching a point where you do not want to read any more about cancer. I think it's important to be educated about your cancer and treatment, but at some point you have to let the doctors do what they do, and hope things work out.
Hang in there, man.
Hang in there, man.

Wow this really inspires me to tell more people of what I'm going through. It's nothing like cancer but yea it does have to do with ulceris colitis.

Derek is an inspiration. I'm only 31 and I take my health for granted but I'm going to get checked out early for this illness. Peace, Derek. And thanks for sharing this video, Chris.
