OUT OF CONTROL CHILDREN! (Dr. Phil Brat Camp) Part 6
From drphil.com :In the first exercise, the parents and kids use puppets to role-play a scenario from the past in which someone's feelings were hurt. Noah and Wendy act out the incident on the plane, when Noah claims Wendy hit him. After, Noah misbehaves and ends up in timeout, where he and his mother have yet another fight. When Ethan and Helen do their puppet show, Helen becomes frustrated with her son for being uncooperative and sends him to a timeout as well. Haley and Lisa reverse roles and act out one of their fights, and Lisa gets a taste of how her daughter perceives her, which is not flattering.

Noah's mom has major problems, he's right, and I believe him when he says she's more abusive at home. She doesn't have to hit him to hurt him badly. She's always yelling at him, not listening to him at all, and she always looks really pissed off. She may be hurting, but she is destroying her son. He seems like a very bright kid, and all he keeps asking for is for her to acknowledge what she has done, and say she's sorry. He doesn't need a beating, he needs her love. Shit, I'd adopt the kid

Haley's mom should divorce that guy, and they should both focus on their own kids more. They already f$^#$d their first marriages up, why hurt the kids more?

Ethan's mom seems nice, but he has major problems. Seems really hyperactive for one. I'd worry about him becoming a criminal too.

that ethan kid obviously has deeper problems than just being a "brat." that kid needs REAL help. he's a classic case of a kid with a serious disorder who has parents that haven't taken any opportunities to diagnose it.
