* Transmission chain for visna->HIV is not established.
* Technology did NOT exist at the time for any sort of virus engineering. Visna and very likely SIV existed prior to WW2. First AIDS victim known is thought to be a sailor a century ago, so the disease is likely much older than that.
* Motive has not been established. Why eradicate smallpox and produce new pathogens while smallpox is doing just fine?
* Opportunity has not been established. Global doctor conspiracy? Ha!

The thing is, I need evidence before I believe something. Your statement that I need to get my heart right implies that emotion is somehow superior to intuition. As for brainwashing, I have NO problem whatsoever believing that our government WOULD do such things as Horowitz claims they did.

However, until I see proof I don't believe it.

He documents his claims with bullshit. Have you actually read "Emerging Viruses: Ebola and AIDS?" Horowitz's claims there regarding the supposed origin of HIV show very little understanding of the morphology of the AIDS virus.

Where are Horowitz's peer-reviewed papers? Where are his articles in reputable journals? Where are his research institution affiliations? The fact is that he doesn't have any. He is nothing more than a conspiracy theorist.

As I said, I'm not making slanderous accusations. You are, and Leonard Horowitz is, and the burden of proof rests on you.

You are making two very outlandish claims here.

One is that there was technology to do recombinant DNA back in the early 1970s. The idea that they could have produced new pathogens at that time is ridiculous.

It is also ridiculous to claim that there is a wide conspiracy among epidemiologists to harm africans.

Prove it.
