Sean Kent at the Cancer 4 College Benefit Part I


Due to my status as a cancer survivor (3 years 9 months now!) I'm frequently asked to speak at charity events. One of my favorites and one that I do every year is Cancer for College. It was founded by fellow cancer survivor Craig Pollard and his wife Stacy and it provides college scholarships to cancer survivors. Last year Craig developed a bacterial infection, was in a coma for 3 weeks and lost both his legs below the knee, yet the tournament still went off without a hitch! My hero, to say the least. That's Craig introducing me. Will Ferrell and his wife Vivica are also heavily involved with the charity. They host the auction part of the event most years and have donated 100s of thousands of $$ to CFC. In the video you can see them laugh at a couple of my jokes in the front row. For the record they're super-nice people. This is part 1 of my speech.
