Aspartame, Brain Cancer&the FDA Approval Process

The approval of aspartame was the most contested in FDA history. The approval of the artificial sweetener was not based on scientific evidence but on political (and financial) interests.Aspartame was 'discovered' in 1965 by Searle, a Chicago drug company. The FDA finally approved aspartame in 1981, even though scientific research had clearly shown that aspartame caused brain cancer in lab animals.

The tests Searle used to determine the so-called safety of aspartame were severelyflawed. Searle used unscientific lab practices, falsified data and withheld crucial information during the FDA approval process.

Because aspartame caused brain tumors in lab animals, it poses a real cancer risk to humans. Cancer is increasing in western countries and will soon be the leading cause of death.

Aspartame (E951) is now used in over 6000 products and millions of people consume the sweetener on a daily basis. In addition to causing cancer, aspartame has also shown to be responsible for many other health problems, neurological diseases, migraines and psychological ailments.

The US Department of Health has recorded 92symptoms (!) following complaints by aspartame users. Over 80% of all complaints filed with FDA are related to aspartame use.

Sugar-free, Light, Diet, Zero (Coke, Sprite&Fanta), Pepsi Max, Low-Calorie, No Sugar Added, etc.Aspartame breaks down into three toxic components:

1. Methanol.
This is the poisonous alcohol. Methanol further breaks down into formaldehyde which is used as an embalming fluid!

2. Phenylalanine.
This decreases the amount serotonin in your brain, which in turn leads to mood swings (depressions) and increased appetite. This is why aspartame consumption is one of the main reasons for obesity epidemic.

3. Aspartic acid.
This is a neurological toxin comparable to MSG.

Hi gregstar1986,The food industry, the medical profession, the (main stream) media and governments tell us that aspartame is perfectly safe for human consumption.

Im in two minds as to wether it is bad or not but i would always errr on the side of caution. I know alot of clever people who drink this stuff and they are not 'dumb' because of the aspartame.

this is so dodgy, why cant soemoene do an independent test and determine once and for all.I wonder whether the scientists and people at nutrasweet drink aspartame! or whether they let there kids drink it.

Aspartame is part of the program to kill of world population as per the New World Order mandate. Just like flouride in the drinking water, aspartame is a known poison. There is a natural sweetener called Stevia which has no calories but is still sweet. It has no side effects or dangers but it is illegal to sell in this country as a sweetener. Recently, it began to be sold in the stores but the manufacturer cannot ever mention that stevia is sweet. This was done to protect the aspartame market.

Hi Pirate312,The use of aspartame in our food supply is part of an agenda by very powerful interests that own and control the pharmaceutical and food industry, the media as well as the scientific community.

Any scientist working for the food industry who publicly challenges the so called 'safety' of aspartame will most likely lose his or her job and will find it nearly impossible to work in the industry ever again.

Wow, that's messed up.But I don't get why a scientist would do this research, find a problem, and throw it out the window like it didn't happen. I would need to get paid A LOT by a company to throw that kind of thing out the window with the mindset that I might be making thousands of people suffer, but even if people are,surely at least one of them would tell SOMEBODY that they are getting paid to give false results for the companies sake, even if it's anonymously without mention of the company?

The use of aspartame in our food supply is part of a much larger agenda by very powerful interests. Their aim is to dumb people down so they are more easily controlled.The main stream media and the pharmaceutical industry are in on this as well.Don't be surprised if people are not receptive to you when you mention the dangers of aspartame. Most people live in a matrix without knowing it.
