she's lucky. Glioblastoma has a 97% death rate. My brother just recently died of it. but he was lucky to live 2 1/2 years while most patients only have less than a year to live.

Sorry about your step dad, far as I know, the prognosis is grave. My brother was a physician, and a health nut, and got this horrible thing. The ER doctor where he went for the first symptom -- he fell and hit his head, bluntly told him it was glio multi, and it was fatal. What a creep. Anyway, the creep was right.

Look at Northwest Biotherapeutics for a therapy in current Phase II trials. Look at the Phase I data from UCLA. Sorry about your stepdad.

my stepdad got a glioblastoma multiforme in 2005 and was told there was no cure, he died october 2006. If there is a cure why did no one tell us?!
