Donkey Basketball


This is Donkey Basketball! My school IKE [the red white&blue] vs W.V. [the plain grayish shirts] It was to raise money for Shala [a sophmore at my school who has bone cancer&in Seattles Childrens Hospital]&John [a guy from our town who broke his neck in a drunken car crash] who needs our help! we raised over $1,800 from this!!

Donkey basketball fundraisers send kids the message that its OK to abuse and humiliate those who are weaker than they are. Besides being yanked and mistreated by children with no handling experience, in order to keep them from having accidents on the court, the frightened, confused donkeys are often deprived of food and water for hours before games. Schools from coast to coast have stopped hosting cruel donkey basketball because they want to help nurture kind kids, not bullies.
