CANCER RECTUM


http://... is a general term in which tissue cells lack controlled growth pattern. Cancer cells usually invade and destroy normal tissue cells. A cancer tends to spread to other parts of the body by releasing cells into lymph and or bloodstream. In this way cancer cells can be carried to a place in the body that may be far from the first tumor. The first site of cancer is called a primary cancer. The tumor that grows as a result of distant spreading is called a secondary cancer. A secondary cancer some times noticed before the primary cancer can be found. There are more than 150 different kinds of cancer and many different causes, including viruses, too much exposure to radiations, cigarette smoking, irritants and chemicals. The most common sites cancerous tumors are the lung, breast, colon, rectum, uterus, mouth, stomach, and bone marrow. Cancerous tumors are curable if found in the early stage. Change in bowel or bladder habits are warning signs for cancer. Non healing ulcers, abnormal bleeding and discharge per vagina, lump in the breast, indigestion or difficulty in swallowing, an obvious change in a wart or mole, hoarseness of voice. Treatments include surgery, radiation and chemotherapy.
