Update - ERCP on Monday 13th July at MoBap.

Well, today I finally got to see the GI Specialist at 10H00. I was shocked to discover that the initial "negative" I received on my MRI that was done at end May, 2009, was not true. Today I was told that this doctor had looked at the MRI and discovered that the ducts left over after I had my gall-bladder removed in August, 2005 were swollen "way and beyond" what could be considered "Normal Parameters"?!?!?!?!?!? Sheeeeeeeeesh!!!! After all that!I will be undergoing surgery at MoBap on Monday 13th July at 12H45 and I will be staying in hospital for from 2.5 - 5 days, depending whether I develop complicatons or not. The Proceedure is called an ERPC (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography), which, although is a nit-picky surgery, has some pretty severe complications.

1. Pancreatitis (5%)
2. Bleeding (1%)
3. Perforation of small intestine. (3%)
4. Unforseen cardio/respiratory event (1%)
5 Infection

I continue to covet our prayers, especially that I will not develop any of those complications. Please ask the Lord to keep mesafe under that anaesthetc and to guide the hands of the sugeon. Thank you very much for all your prayers and all the love you have shown me over the past month or so. I am deeply touched by all your e-mails, PMs and comments.
