Josef's Aplastic Anemia Journey...the beginning
My 4 year old son has been battling aplastic anemia since mid 2007. This is a slide show to share with others out there what the disease is, how a family can deal with it&some real life pictures of important parts of this diagnosis. I hope it is enlightening to you! God bless.**FOR MORE information about Josef OR this disease, please visit www.JosefWood.com .**

Hey! That's why I posted it; hopefully to encourage someone else going through this. Let us know how your ATG goes...maybe even make a video of YOUR experience? God bless.

I know when you're young, jokes about serious things are funny...when you grow up&experience those things, perspective changes. :o)

Thank you for posting this video. I now understand why you were so unhappy that I have that I have a video of my friend swallowing the magnet. He never actually did swallow it but I can see your point.

It's called Neutropenia. When you have extremely LOW white blood cells, you are susceptable to germs that normal people'd have no problems with but that could kill you. It's protection.

why does he have to wear a mask?
troyshado (July 27, 2008 at 10:37 pm)
Why? How can ANY parent explain WHY their child chose to eat/swallow an item other than food? Easy answer...because he could. (better answer, he sucks his thumb&sometimes without thinking puts things in his mouth&sometimes they are swallowed.)
