Zachary LP 10-11-07 2Lumbar puncture / spinal tap with intrathecal methotrexate.This is Zachary. Zachary has leukemia - ALL - standard risk. He was diagnosed at 3.5 years of age. Zachary is now 5.5 years old. He is on a three and a half year treatment protocol with a year and a half of treatment remaining.

Treatment consists of daily oral chemotherapy for the durationof the 3.5 years. Additionally, Zachary also receives systemic (through his mediport) and intrathecal(in his spinal fluid) chemotherapy and monthly high dose steroid pulses.
