ErroneousFunk get over yourself. my little sister had acute lymphoblastic leukemia (the same thing as shane) when she was 5, luckily she is in remission now. you don't have the slightest understanding of what it's like to go through that, and if i can send him a card and know it's making him smile then that is just as great as donating money.

what kind of insensitive prick would work out the figure to make a point AGAINST helping a child fighting a disease. No one gives a shit if you support it or not, don't post anything then

yes. this is ture that this is money that could be sent towards research but it's 3 dollars that can help brighten a kids' day and put a smile on his face and really i think that a story like this is not only encouraging other people to help a sick child out by sending him a bday card, but can also encourage people to donate to leukemia research. it's good publicity for pediatric councer foundations, etc.

funk your an ass honestly. if u were dying at the ge of seven. wtf would you want. he just wants ppl to understand. we cnat get this many ppl to donate the money. they care. your an ass. its not supporting its the love for a child who has no other wishes. atleast you get to sleep in your own bed at night. stop whining. if u dont have anything nice to say to a dieing kid dont say anything at all. ass.

A conservative average of 2 dollars a card, plus 63 cents postage to Canada is $920,500,000 American, or over a billion dollars Canadian. This would be a ridiculous amount of money to give to Leukemia research, and would provide amazing resources to scientists, doctors, and researchers struggling to solve this problem. But birthday cards? I can't support this.
