Zachary LP w/IT Mtx 1/3/08 1Lumbar puncture / spinal tap with intrathecal methotrexate.
This is Zachary. Zachary has leukemia - ALL - standard risk. He was diagnosed at 3.5 years of age. Zachary is now 5.5 years old. He is on a three and a half year treatment protocol with a year and a half of treatment remaining.
Treatment consists of daily oral chemotherapy for the duration of the 3.5 years. Additionally, Zachary also receives systemic (through his mediport) and intrathecal(in his spinal fluid) chemotherapy and monthly high dose steroid pulses.

what is it he is getting in this video?what exactly is it. what is the differnce with lumbar punture with interactal chemo?May God bless ur little boy.one thing that amazes me about him,my daughter and every other child with cancer is their determanation.m daughter has gone through similar things as zachery like having to wake up at night to take medicine

hey i do hope and pray that ur little boy gets better. my daughter has ATRT and has been fighting it since january. her own is really a brain tumor. it brakes my heart that she is always in pain. she started her battle really at age 3. she has been dianosed with 4 differnt cancers since then.3yrs obdiosarcoma4yrs neroblastoma and leukimia8yrs rhabdosarcoma9yrs ATRTshe has spent over 900+ hrs in surgery50,000+ hrs in chemo.and even more getting sick
