"He's My Son" Garrett Dx with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia


My son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) July 23, 2007. He is now a patient at St. Jude. I've been wanting to put this video together for a long time and finally got it done. We have so many people who don't even know us, praying for us. They all keep up with us on our caringbridge page and I wanted them to be able to view the video as well. Thank you so much!! I update his caringbridge site often. Please look for updates there. You can even sign up for notifications. And please feel free to share our story and site with everyone. The prayers we receive are a tremendous support. Don't worry about the tears either. I am the same way. We are coming up on one year since diagnosis too so I am extremely emotional and EVERYTHING makes me cry. I would have been bawling with you. :) God Bless you and your family.

Wow...ok maybe being at work wasn't the place for me to watch this. I'm bawling. My thoughts and prayers are with you. My coworker showed me this and our entire company has been impacted by your situation through your video. PLease keep us updated on your son and his progress.

I'm so sorry to hear about your son's condition. I know that St. Jude's is a wonderful place for him to be right now, and I'll be sending some good thoughts for a quick and painless recovery, and lots of positive energy in his direction.
